As reflected by their names traditional tents are the tents made with traditional methods and material. Traditional tents are mostly made by natural fabrics like cotton, jute or wool. They are mostly hand made and hand stitched. These tents have variation according to different areas and regions. For example in gulf regions the trational tents were made of mostly wool and dry palm leaves as this material was freuquent in the area but cotton and jute fabric were mostly used in tropical regions for tents. Now a days some traditional prints are used on synthetic material called Saddu fabric and being freuquently used with modern matallic frame just as a symbol of Arabic Traditions and Heritage. Arabic Majlis tents, Saddu Tents, Bait Shar etc are terms used for these tents.
